 We are looking for you to join our Import Operations department as a Transport Specialist (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Idstein as soon as possible.

Your role in the Wolfpack:
  • Independent and professional management of national and international transport processes, with a strong focus on cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Preparation and administration of all relevant documentation required for smooth and timely order processing.
  • Acting as a central interface between internal departments (such as Purchasing and Sales) and external partners, including logistics service providers and warehouse operations.
  • Oversight of document flow as well as the verification and processing of receivables and payables related to service providers and authorities; initiating corrective measures when necessary (e.g., in case of invoice discrepancies or incorrect customs documents).
  • Investigation and resolution of transport damages, including the initiation of recourse claims when applicable.
  • Active involvement in cross-departmental projects and continuous optimization of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Preparation, execution, and monitoring of import/export customs procedures in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support in financial tasks related to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Participation in the preparation and execution of freight tenders to optimize transport conditions and partner performance.
  • Ongoing performance monitoring and quality assessment of logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
  • Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk  or equivalent professional experience
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Confident in working with SAP
  • Skilled in using department-specific software systems
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Reliable, cooperative, independent, and proactive working style
